The video does not explain the US price gouging spill over into Canada which has made almost everything increase in price. The lack of competition in Canada and the monkey see - monkey do copycat price gouging is increasing prices. The ratio of homegrown price increases to imported price increases is probably 60:40.
The majority of government legislation is designed to keep the status quo and all politicians are guilty of self-serving rather than community service. This video is an excellent start - if you name and shame then you have to do both sides to be totally fair and accurate.
