Most USA political and economic polls are designed to illicit a specific reaction that can be used to batter the political opposition rather than accurately describe reality.
Jan 2024 : GDP is up, Consumer spending up, unemployment down
All USA right wing media promotes the idea that the economy is bad
When questioned as individuals AXIOS collected opposite to right wing media propaganda.
63% of Americans are doing good or very good
77% happy where they are living
85% believe 2024 will allow them to improve their situation
Right wing media is telling them to believe the exact opposite of a situation they can prove wrong with their own eyes.
